Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The prevalence of nephrolithiasis is approximately 20.0%, and the health and economic burdens of kidney stone disease are notably high across the globe. Nevertheless, recent advances in the medical and surgical management of kidney stone disease have greatly improved health outcomes in this patient population.

The goal of this Special Issue is to share the current, state-of-the-art advances achieved in exploring and understanding what underlies the relevant pathophysiological mechanisms and their molecular genetic basis, as well as the progress achieved in the development of new medications and technical advances in surgical management in this patient population.

The submission deadline is 1 July 2024.

Sincerely,
Prof. Dr. Agnieszka Pozdzik
Prof. Dr. Khashayar Sakhaee

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process.
