Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Hemorrhagic stroke (intracerebral hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage) accounts for only 20% of all strokes, but the high mortality and long-term disability rates associated with it makes it a very important topic in clinical practice. Hemorrhagic stroke is an important part of the daily clinical work of neurosurgeons, stroke neurologists, neuro-intensivists, and neuroradiologists. Despite tremendous progress having been made over the past three decades in the treatment, diagnosis, and management of hemorrhagic stroke, many unanswered questions remain. Among the many causes stand primary cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral aneurysm, cerebral arteriovenous malformation, cavernous tumor, and dural arteriovenous fistula, to name a few.

This Special Issue of JCM aims to collect contributions from all aspects related to the diagnosis, treatment, and management of hemorrhagic stroke. Original research articles and reviews are welcome.
