Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) refers to the onset or first recognition of abnormal glucose tolerance during pregnancy; GDM carries risks such as gestational hypertension, preeclampsia, and cesarean delivery. Neonatal complications include dyspnea, jaundice, and hypoglycemia; glycemic control in GDM is critical to reduce these risks and prevent the development of type 2 diabetes after delivery. This Special Issue focuses on treatments and complications. In addition to research on traditional pharmacotherapy, studies on self-management skills related to lifestyle changes are welcome. Researchers in this field are encouraged to submit their research findings as original papers or review articles.
