Dear Colleagues,
Approximately 95% of world trade by volume, raw materials, finished goods and energy supplies, are transported by sea, and a significant amount of capital is invested in shipping. With high risks of casualties, economic loss, and severe maritime pollution, maritime safety and security represent the priority for the international shipping industry. The purpose of the current Special Issue is to publish the most recent advances in the research dedicated to or based upon shipping risk management. We are interested in papers describing cutting-edge research in maritime autonomous surface ships (MASS) risk analysis, Arctic shipping risk, maritime cyber security, ship collision risks, and machine learning applications. We welcome the submission of original research and development work related to Recent Advances in Shipping Risk Management.

Journal of Marine Science and Engineering is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
