The 20th International Congress of International Society for Ethnopharmacology
The 20th International Congress of the International Society for Ethnopharmacology (ISE), will be held from 18-21 April 2021, in Thessaloniki, Greece. ISE is a collaborative, interdisciplinary group of scientists fascinated by the study of the global use of medicines, seeking to understand the cultural and the pharmacological dimensions of human medicinal plant use. The biannual congress aims to increase our knowledge on traditional medicinal products, the influence of herbal medicinal products in the Pharmacopoeias and the role of natural products in drug discovery, nutrition and applied chemistry.
The Congress is a meeting point of a wide range of scientists, eminent academicians, researchers and industrialists, who will expatiate and share their knowledge about the latest developments of their research and contribution to the Global Ethnopharmacology and by extension to pharmacology, providing the opportunity for discussion and interaction. The scientific program includes plenary lectures and invited short lectures, contributed short lectures and poster sessions.
