Feature papers represent the most advanced research with significant potential for high impact in the field. A Feature
Paper should be a substantial original Article that involves several techniques or approaches, provides an outlook for
future research directions and describes possible research applications.
Feature papers are submitted upon individual invitation or recommendation by the scientific editors and must receive
positive feedback from the reviewers.
Editor’s Choice articles are based on recommendations by the scientific editors of MDPI journals from around the world.
Editors select a small number of articles recently published in the journal that they believe will be particularly
interesting to readers, or important in the respective research area. The aim is to provide a snapshot of some of the
most exciting work published in the various research areas of the journal.
The year 2022 marks the 10th anniversary of Technologies, a peer-reviewed, open access journal, published bimonthly online by MDPI, that singularly focuses on emerging scientific and technological trends. Technologies has published almost 600 papers in the form of reviews, research papers, and communications. More than 110 of these papers have received over 10 citations. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Technologies, we are arranging a series comprising special content and events. We hope that you will join us in celebrating this milestone for our journal, and we hope that you enjoy the collections below.

The inaugural issue was released, and Technologies is published as a quarterly journal.
Founding Editor-in-Chief: Prof. Dr. Jeremy O'Brien.
Prof. Dr. Manoj Gupta was appointed as the Editor-in-Chief for Technologies.
Prof. Dr. Manoj Gupta received his Ph.D. degree from the University of California, Irvine, USA, in 1992, and is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the National University of Singapore. In August 2017, he was highlighted among the Top 1% Scientist of the World Position by The Universal Scientific Education and Research Network, as well as among the top 2.5% by ResearchGate and the top 1% in Stanford’s list of researchers. To his credit are (i) the disintegrated melt deposition technique and (ii) hybrid microwave sintering technique, an energy efficient solid-state processing method used to synthesize alloys/microcomposites/nanocomposites. He has published over 600 peer-reviewed journal papers, co-authored 8 books, and owns 2 US patents.

In 2022, we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of our journal Technologies. In recognition of our authors’ continued support, Technologies is pleased to announce that the “Technologies 2023 Best Paper Award” has been launched and will be granted to the best paper published in Technologies from 1 January, 2021 to 31 December, 2021.
Technologies 2022 Outstanding Reviewer Award
The award will be granted to one of reviewers for Technologies in 2022. We wish to acknowledge our reviewers who so generously give their time to review the papers submitted to Technologies by presenting this award to the reviewers who have demonstrated their dedication, professionalism, and timeliness in reviewing manuscripts for Technologies.
