Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

To improve literature review.

Author Response

First of all, we appreciate the comments provided by the Editor and the reviewers. We hope we had addressed all of them properly to publish a higher quality paper.

Reviewer 1 asks for an improvement in the literature review. We have searched again in well-known databases like Web of Science, Scopus, Taylor and Francis, MDPI, and Wiley, looking for additional papers.

The topic of bullwhip effects has a lot of papers as well as perishable products. Actually, in the first paper’s version, we focused on the ones that fit better the paper’s scope. In any case, we have included in this version 10 additional papers regarding the bullwhip effect (increasing from 16 to 26 papers) and 15 papers considering perishable products (from 20 to 35). Regarding the combination of both (bullwhip effects in the perishables supply chain), considering that the subject is a narrow one and our first revision, we have included two additional papers after reviewing the same databases.

We have analyzed the papers and updated the information in the paper considering the research objectives.

We consider that the paper has improved the added value, and we would like to thank the reviewer for the valuable suggestion.

Reviewer 2 Report

This paper is about the bullwhip effect impact on perishable SC. Since, it's paper type is 'review', I think before to consider this paper, they do text-mining with topic modeling in various journal sites(MDPI, Elsevier, Springer and so on.). And after that, they can classify the quality factors of the SC of perishable products and also classify causes bullwhip effect. Therefore, I'd like to give Major revision.
