Horticultural and Floricultural Crops
A section of Agronomy (ISSN 2073-4395).
Section Information
The Horticultural and Floricultural Crops section publishes original research papers, reviews, mini-reviews, perspectives, and methodology articles related to horticultural crops under open-field and protected cultivation, including vegetables, fruit trees, vines, ornamental shrubs and trees, flowers, and aromatic and medicinal plants in preharvest and postharvest stages in the life of horticultural and floricultural products. We want to elucidate how crop performance and the quality of horticultural commodities are affected by genetic materials, environmental conditions, production techniques, and postharvest factors. Elucidating the effective mechanisms modulated by these factors is pivotal for attaining sustainable improvement of productivity and product quality of horticultural and floricultural crops. We welcome high-class submissions related to the above-mentioned topics, which may include basic and applied studies.
Accordingly, the section “Horticultural and Floricultural Crops” is interested in:
- Research articles
- Review articles
- Mini-review articles
- Perspective articles
- Opinion articles
- Methods and not methodology articles
- Commentaries
- Communication articles or brief research articles
In particular, “Horticultural and Floricultural Crops” welcomes contributions by early career researchers and propositions for research topics and Special Issues on a single, particular theme in the field of horticultural and floricultural crops.
