Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Whether neutrinos have mass remains an unanswered physics question beyond the Standard Model of particle physics. Therefore, the research on neutrinos has always been a hot topic in fundamental physics. At the same time, the advancement of neutrino oscillation and property studies is now making neutrinos a unique probe for detecting nuclear energy from the Earth, the Sun, and the stars in the universe. We have already seen many efforts to build a real-time unbiased monitor for nuclear reactors' operation in power plants. In the future, researchers are even thinking of using neutrinos for tomography of the Earth's interior. The papers in this Special Issue will summarize the current progress and prospects of neutrinos in the above aspects.

Applied Sciences is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
