Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

We are immersed in the digital society, and technologies will have a prominent place in our way of life. It is necessary to reflect on the environmental impact caused by the use of digital technologies. The safe use of digital technologies and environmental problems are issues that have acquired great importance in our society. The current situation is an ideal time to think, analyze, and build a new reality. In education, it is important to redesign education toward sustainable models and promote a critical look at digital technologies.

Many works related to sustainability are being developed in the virtual space, in education, in which it is necessary to educate at all educational levels because boys and girls are consumers of technological resources from a very young age. Therefore, teachers need to be trained to prepare future generations to make an eco-responsible use of technologies that guarantees sustainable development and, consequently, optimal health of the planet; this implies going toward what has been called sustainable education.

This Special Issue aims to publish high-quality research articles that make an important contribution to educational models linked to the SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) and the eco-responsible use of technologies. Scientific contributions that exemplify and report good educational practices with ICT for a sustainable future will be accepted.
