Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The article is extremely interesting and brings added value to science. A very interesting and very well described method based on experiment. In principle, I have no major comments, but I urge the authors to correct some mistakes:

Line 80 and more: Units for the value are written without a space

I lack a more detailed discussion that presents where the research came from, where the idea came from, and what can be improved in the future. The discussion should be related to similar research already conducted.

The conclusion is uninteresting. It needs to be expanded and the results summarized, adding what they will improve in the future

Reviewer 2 Report

Rephrase lines 17-18 The statement used as "it could achieve..." seems that the probability results are not sure.

Add more statements of results on the last part of the abstract.

the context in line 94, should be put on the next page.

Put a space right after the text in line 113.

Figure 3 seems so blurry especially on the text within the figure, enhancement is necessary.

Provide a spaceline after the text in line 141, the same goes with line 189.

Enhance the methodology, it does not establish in the presentation

Observe line spaces in 201-203., the same goes with lines 219 and 240.

the font size of 3.3.1 seems much larger than the subheading of 3.3

Observe spaceline on 262, 263, to 264.

Additional interpretation on the analysis of 4.1 (Figures 9-11).

Edit figures 12-14 are too blurry.

Reviewer 3 Report

The study of bionic prototypes of soil loosening is a very urgent task. The presented manuscript is very important for solving the problem of soil compaction, increasing fertility , and also reducing energy consumption in agriculture.

There are some comments on the work that can, in my opinion, improve the manuscript:
1) Line 102. It is necessary to clarify the used classification of soils, and also add the name of the soils according to WRB (2015).
2) Lines 239. Reference [36] is not an international soil classification. Should be used - "FAO and IUSS 2015. World reference base for soil resources 2014. International soil classification system for naming soils and creating legends for soil maps – Update 2015. FAO, Rome: 203 pp."
