Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The Special Issue on Novel Materials in Dentistry and Medical Applications is an opportunity for material scientists, academic staff, and clinical practitioners to present their latest achievements. Dentistry today shows a remarkable potential to develop new materials opening interesting perspectives for clinical applications. The strong bond between material science and clinical performance of the latest generation materials enables practitioners to implement new treatment modalities to benefit patients.
New types of hybrid materials and nanoceramics have proven their applicability in both direct and indirect dental restorations. This Special Issue aims to assemble the new data in the field and to open new perspectives through interesting contributions. We hope to bridge the gap between technical research and clinical use and to present manuscripts from worldwide specialists in medical engineering, surgery, imaging, and allied fields of activity.
It is my pleasure to invite you to submit a manuscript for this Special Issue such as full papers, reviews, and communications.
