Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Ultrasonography is the most critical imaging technique used in modern gynecology. It allows for the diagnosis of gynecological conditions and enables medical professionals to plan the best medical or surgical treatment. Over the last ten years, several improvements have been made in the assessment of benign gynecological pathologies (such as endometriosis and uterine fibroids) and gynecological cancers (such as ovarian, endometrial, and cervical cancers). Furthermore, three-dimensional or four-dimensional ultrasonography can improve diagnostic performance by reproducing the anatomy precisely.

This Special Issue aims to present the recent advances in the use of ultrasounds in gynecology. Submissions consisting of clinical papers, systematic/narrative reviews, and technical notes are welcome. The main topics of interest for the Special Issue include (but are not limited to) endometriosis, uterine fibroids, endometrial pathologies, ovarian cancer, endometrial cancer, and cervical cancer.

We look forward to receiving your contributions.
