Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Every day, all around the world, adhesion procedures are widely used in dental offices. Adhesion in the dental field has revolutionized how patients are treated in different branches of dentistry, from restorative to orthodontics. Contemporary materials are highly effective in terms of strength, esthetics and long-term results. They permit us to save healthy dental tissues and offer to the patients a valid alternative to more invasive prosthetic rehabilitations.
This Special Issue aims to investigate the current available material composition, new trends and clinical applications of dental adhesives.
Topics may include research about biocompatibility, material composition, interaction with tissues and with dental devices, clinical application and improving of existent procedures in every aspect of contemporary dentistry. Furthermore, papers that consider digital dentistry in the diagnostic process or with a therapeutic aspect are very welcome.

Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Applied Sciences is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
