New Insights in Supramolecular Polymers

Dear Colleagues,

Current developments in new polymerization methods and analytical tools have simultaneously created new opportunities for the designing and tailoring of supramolecular polymers and other systems. Based on various non-covalent interactions, these systems can provide not only the selected composition given by a covalent structure, but also are responsive to various stimuli, adaptable, self-healing and, of course, have the desired architecture. This feature is important in biological, biomedical or pharmaceutical applications because life is based on supramolecular organisation. Other possible applications can be found in electronics and optoelectronics, as well as in cosmetics or sensors.

This Special Issue focuses on the synthesis, application and analysis of supramolecular polymers and related systems. Original research papers as well as review articles are welcome to be submitted to this Special Issue.
