Molecular Design, Synthesis, and Application of Conjugated Materials

Dear Colleagues,

Conjugated materials have broad applications in many fields due to their special properties. The electrical and optical properties of these materials can be finely tuned by manipulating their chemical structures, which dictate aspects such as absorption, emission, aggregation, and electrical properties. Understanding the structure-related properties of conjugated materials at the molecular level is essential for grasping the underlying mechanisms. Thus, this Special Issue encompasses molecular design strategies intended to improve the performance of these materials for promising applications, including traditional research domains. Moreover, for this issue, we invite innovative synthetic methodologies for the fabrication of conjugated materials. Given the active exploration of conjugated materials by numerous research groups, we expect this Special Issue to captivate colleagues and a broader audience interested in conjugated materials, providing valuable insights into design strategies for their development.
